We would always advise booking a consultation with a nurse if you are unsure what type of treatment you need or would like to address your areas of concern. We offer face to consultations to answer all of your questions.
However, if you are confident that you will go ahead with a specific treatment feel free to book in for that treatment and we will carry out a full consultation on the day prior to any treatment to ensure it is suitable, safe and appropriate for you and your concerns. Alternatively, give us a call and we can advise via telephone.
AT DUO Clinic you are in safe hands, no treatment would or should ever be unbearable. We use a prescription-only numbing cream prior to injecting for any treatments that may be a little uncomfortable, so please do not worry!
Absolutely! All injectors at Duo Clinic are proud to say they are NMC Registered Nurses, as well as our Medical Director Hayley being an Independent Nurse Prescriber. All nurses at Duo Clinic have a combined 20 years of nursing experience so you are in very safe hands!
Some bruising/swelling post-injectable treatment is very common. Every patient is different and bruising/swelling should be expected and planned for. However, some people experience no bruising/swelling at all. We advise planning your injectable treatments around your work and social events.
At DUO Clinic, we offer the convenience of booking with any of our experienced nurses, as they all follow a consistent approach in their injectable treatments. As we offer a range of treatments, each treatment tends to have different lengths of downtime, ranging from zero downtime to 2-4 weeks for results to fully settle. Your nurse can discuss the downtime of the treatment you are having during consultation.

Each treatment will have a different time frame in relation to results and when they will be noticed. Some treatments such as dermal filler treatments will offer a more instant result but treatments which work with the skin may take a little longer from 2-4 weeks. You can discuss realistic time frames with your nurse.
Longevity of results differs between the types of treatments we offer here at DUO and also person to person. Everyone is individual but we can give you a expected time frame.

It all depends on the treatment that you are having but as a guideline for some of our most popular treatments we recommend these amounts of time prior to an event:
Anti Wrinkle Treatments – 4-6 weeks
Dermal Filler – 4 weeks
Injectable Skin Boosters – (2 Sessions) 1st session 2 months prior, 2nd session 4 weeks later.
Medical Grade Chemical Peels – 10-14 day
Medi Facials – Within 7 days of event

These policies are in place to maintain fairness, safety, and consistency for all of our patients and also to protect our staff.
• A deposit or consultation fee is required at the time of booking.
• All deposits and consultation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Cancellations or reschedules must be made with at least 72 hours’ notice.
• Late cancellations or reschedules within 72 hours will result in loss of deposit.
• One reschedule is permitted only, and must be rebooked within 6-8 weeks of the original date.
• Consultation fees are valid for 12 weeks and may be used towards treatments only (not products).
To ensure smooth running of the clinic:
• Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their treatment refused, and deposits will be forfeited.
• This helps us avoid delays for other patients and ensures you receive the full time and attention required.
• Treatments are available exclusively to patients aged 18 and over.
• Our clinic is a professional, clinical setting and is not suitable for children.
• We kindly ask that children are not brought to appointments, ensuring a safe and relaxing experience for all patients.
• Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.
• They cannot be exchanged for cash or used towards product purchases.
• Deposits are non-transferable between patients.
• Deposits cannot be redeemed against skincare products or retail items.
• Patients must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, and conditions prior to treatment.
• We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it is unsafe or unsuitable.
• While we always strive for the best outcomes, results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.
• Some treatments may require multiple sessions for optimal results, which will be discussed at consultation.
• Clinical photographs may be taken for medical documentation purposes.
• All images are confidential unless explicit written consent is given for marketing use.
• All treatments must be paid for in full on the day of your appointment.
• We accept: Cash and all cards. Valid gift vouchers.
• Aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment.
• We cannot be held responsible for adverse outcomes where aftercare advice has not been followed.
• We ask all patients to be respectful towards staff and other patients.
• Abusive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
• We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment if it is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or not in your best interest.
