Hayley Thirkettle

Independent Nurse Prescriber

Hayley’s journey began with her qualifying as an Adult Nurse in 2016, leading to her first post in community nursing. Her passion for high-quality care brought her to General Practice nursing, where she spent over four years and completed an Advanced Clinical Assessment degree.

In 2017, Hayley began working in medical aesthetics alongside her General Practice role. After nursing throughout the Covid Pandemic, she decided in July 2021 to focus fully on her aesthetics practice, leaving the NHS.

Her commitment to development is evident in her recent prescribing qualification, earning her the title of Independent Nurse Prescriber (INP), and in her ongoing postgraduate studies in Aesthetic Injectables.

Since 2021, Hayley has pursued advanced international training and runs The School of Aesthetic Medicine to teach aesthetic medicine. Her ethos at Duo Clinic is for patients and injectors to feel like a ‘DUO’ in every interaction.

Nurse Courtney

Senior Nurse

Courtney, a vibrant and compassionate senior nurse who began her journey after graduating from Anglia Ruskin University as a Qualified Nurse in 2017. Her career took her to work within the Acute Stroke Unit at Southend Hospital , where she spent over four years growing and learning achieving the esteemed role of Deputy Ward Manager. Courtney’s experience in acute care has honed her skills and deepened her understanding of patient needs, making her a valuable asset to any medical setting.

While currently excelling as a disability nurse assessor, Courtney has always held a passion for the ever-evolving world of medical aesthetics. In 2023 Courtney trained with The School of Aesthetic Medicine and as a result of her intense training is an extremely confident injector.

Courtney’s vibrant energy and dedication to patient well-being make her an essential addition to the Duo Clinic team.

Nurse Tara

Senior Nurse

Tara, a dedicated and accomplished senior nurse whose journey began with her qualification as a Registered Nurse in 2016. Her tireless dedication in the NHS and exceptional skill set led her to progress to the esteemed position of ward manager and senior sister in 2019, roles in which she continues to excel to this day. Despite her significant achievements in the hospital setting, Tara has also cultivated a deep passion for the field of aesthetic medicine. Her passion for aesthetics led her to pursue her initial foundation aesthetics training back in 2017, marking the beginning of her journey into this specialised and rewarding field.

In 2023 Tara then completed further training with The School of Aesthetic Medicine to excel her skills.

Tara’s warm enthusiasm and dedication to both her patients and her injecting make her an invaluable addition to Duo Clinic. Her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to exceptional care are evident in every aspect of her work.
